Balcarres is a town located in southern Saskatchewan, Canada, situated along Highway 10 and Highway 22, approximately 85 kilometres northeast of Regina. The nearby highways of Highway 619 and Highway 310 also serve the surrounding area. As of the 2006 census, the town had a population of 598.
The town sits about 15 kilometres northeast of the Fishing Lakes, placing it within the broader landscape of southeastern Saskatchewan.
