Beauval Map

Beauval is a northern village in Northern Saskatchewan, situated near Lac Île-à-la-Crosse. Founded in the early 20th century, it developed as both a Roman Catholic mission and a transportation centre, reflecting the dual role that many early settlements in northern Saskatchewan played in serving both the spiritual and practical needs of the region.

As a small community in the northern part of the province, Beauval’s origins as a mission and transportation hub shaped its early character and its place within the broader network of northern Saskatchewan settlements.
