Ernfold Map

Ernfold is a village in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan, located within the Rural Municipality of Morse No. 165 and Census Division No. 7. The village was originally situated alongside the two-lane highway that preceded the modern route through the area.

In 1973, the construction of a divided Trans-Canada Highway placed Ernfold between the opposing lanes of traffic. To prevent the complete destruction of the village, the eastbound lane of the Trans-Canada Highway was rerouted approximately 3 km south, leaving Ernfold sandwiched between the two separated lanes of the highway.
